2026 NIYS Honor Band & Symphonic Band
We are excited to present the inaugural year of our NIYS Honor Band and Symphonic Band. Please click on the "Honor Band" tab above to access information and registration.
The NIYS Honor Band is a month-long program with 3 rehearsals and a final dress rehearsal and concert. This outstanding ensemble of winds and percussion targets talented and motivated students grades 6-9 in greater Coeur d'Alene (Post Falls to Sandpoint).
The NIYS Symphonic Band will be joining our three youth orchestras, in the 2026-2027 season. The Symphonic Band fosters musical growth for our young wind and percussionists, augmenting the North Idaho Youth Symphony program.
Developing Young Musicians
Next concert is May 4, 2026, 7pm at the Kroc Center Auditorium. Students, check out the "Schedule" tab above to see your dress rehearsal time. Please arrive 15 minutes before your dress rehearsal.
